Bi-directional Control (also referred to as Active Tests) function is a commonly-used function for mechanics/workshops, can save you a load of time and help you get through more jobs every day.

1. Oil Reset: reset the oil life system and turn off the oil light after oil or oil filter replacements.
2. EPB Reset :the brake pad after replacing the brake pad, the servo motor, etc., deactivate/activate the brake control system, assist with brake fluid control, open and close brake pads, etc.
3. TPMS Reset : the tire pressure and turn off the tire pressure fault indicator.
4. BMS Reset : the monitoring unit of the car battery after replacing the battery or battery monitoring sensors.
5. DPF Regeneration: clear particulate matter from the DPF filter through continuous combustion oxidation mode to stabilize the filter performance.
6. IMMO Keys: disable the lost vehicle keys and program the replacement key fob. ONLY For some Asian and American cars with low-grade IMMO.

Great if you use it in english, the translation to other languages needs an update because some part are still in english and the rest in the choosen language. Appart from that make sure to use it with a wifi connection or it will become complicated to use it And when you receive it make sure to update all of the software etc... before using it Very professional machine so you will need time to get use to it and understand how it works.

My Thinkcar 689BT is better in overall quality, in the carrying case, in the tool itself, in the charger, and mainly in the screen protection film that comes factory-applied. The protection that came with my device is rough and ugly, and it scratched the screen the first time I cleaned it. Excluding that, it's an excellent tool.

I bought this product because I had to pay for updates while using the lunch scanner. The seller's response was good, and if I had purchased it a little later, I could have gotten it cheaper with a coupon, which is unfortunate. I have currently activated the DH steering assist and also worked on the Equus VI air suspension leveling. It seems like an excellent value-for-money scanner. The Korean translation is also good, and it seems to have a higher usability compared to other scanners. First of all, since the update is free, there won't be any additional cost.
