Trial, Renewal & SIM Usage
The first use includes a 300MB free trial. After the trial is used up, you’ll need to subscribe and renew to continue accessing live view, cloud services, and other functions. You can also use your own SIM card.
The role of cloud services:
They store videos and photos recorded by the device to the cloud drive. (You can also use a separately purchased memory card for local storage.)
If your car is stolen and the dashcam is removed, an active cloud service plan still allows you to access recorded footage from before the theft. However, without an active plan, once the camera loses power, the footage recorded before the theft will no longer be accessible.
