2012 disc. From a reliable series, but the age is certainly a concern. But most likely, almost everything inside has been replaced. The speed doesn't quite reach 90 MB/s. It's the same in another HDD pocket. The disc has Velcro on the bottom and holds very firmly. The sectors are all intact, no problems with the disc so far. For this price, it's a good deal.
