They put a steel plate inside so it feels heavy and premium. it also stays put. they include a decently fast cable which is nice, i didnt expect that for the price (8.33cad- ~6usd)! not a fan of the brand writing though, but its exactly like in the pictures, still painted mine black. hopefully the quality stands the test of time! im pretty confident it will.

I have tried it twice and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. A friend, upon seeing it, asked me to buy another unit for him. I had an external case to test the M.2 drives that were arriving, but I was tired of disassembling the drive that was inside. With this device, I won't have to do it again.

This is actually a nice unit. Came in a nice box with colored print. The unit itself has soft rubber feet and has some weight to it (weighed it: 60 grams), so it doesn't feel cheap and (more importantly) doesn't slide around the table. Haven't been able to test yet, but the unit feels nicely made and has proper packaging. Comes with a usb 3.0 cable (including usb a to usb c converter).

Works very well. High quality usb cable included with adapter-end. C-to-c and c-to-a possible. Cable is short, so only for laptop usage. I have the dual protocol version but only tested nvme so far. It is possible to swap disk while it is connected - did some tests with read only.

Good quality, good speed - my samsung sata 256 gb shows 400 mb/s sequential read/write, and the same performance with an intel 256 gb nvme. The computer ports are the bottleneck it seems. Recommended. Note: connecting to a slow port or crappy cable results in a 10-fold performance degradation.
